Christmas window decorations make lovely, free Christmas crafts for kids
(a sure hand with scissors is needed!)
If you're looking for Christmas craft freebies: These paper Christmas crafts (or winter paper crafts) are free printable paper crafts for quick, easy, primitive Christmas decorations.
You can use the model as a paper Christmas star or a snowflake.
I'd never made these paper crafts for Christmas until, a few days ago, my sister sent me a letter, and when I opened the envelope, five little funny-looking squiggly bits of folded paper fell out.
The note read: "...check these out - we've got them up as Christmas window decorations.
They cost nothing, they're fun to make, every single one's a surprise, you just do a new one & it's completely different from the others. I just quickly created this batch for you because your niece has already made a dozen & she's now gone to feed the rabbit."
I unfolded the little paper things and they turned into the Christmas paper stars pictured here.

The samples my sister sent me are made from paper squares,
so it's easy to 'tile' an area with them.
If you would prefer round Christmas window decorations (to make them look more like snowflakes), just start with a round piece of paper rather than a square one.
You can create really chic Christmas window decorations from a combination of round paper-cut ornaments in different sizes.
Or, cut 'miniature' stars/snowflakes and decorate ...
I've made you a printable sheet of the paper Christmas
star patterns my sister sent me,
in case you want to practice a little before creating your own originals.
